Lino Block Print's in The Works

I have been making prints during my free time. I didn't touch any of my lino blocks until recently. Since I now know the fundamentals for doing a limited run of prints. My work will be available for sale on e-bay once I'm done with all the prints. So stay tune for that. In the time being check the photos below of the prints I have been working on. Hand sketches

I was sketching hands, until I realized I had other art projects to finish. Plus job hunting also takes time. One major thing I do need is Adobe Flash to begin my animation career. But first things first. I will finish the last symmetric piece for my buddy, before I begin my portfolio in character design. I will leave you with this images of hand sketches. Good day.

 

Nothing But Study Skeches

I have been doing study sketches of the hands. It is my ultimate weakness in drawing, but it will soon be in the past. I will no longer have to be afraid of designing human characters, and if I improve maybe I will go for that animation degree after all. That's all for now folks.

New ACEO's (Art Cards, Editions and Originals)

This will be the ACEO's I will be selling soon on e-bay. I need to write a brief  description of the art pieces first. That way, when I sell on e-bay, I can simply copy and paste rather then writing on the spot. It is always better to be prepared before hand. The first 3 images is old work I did in college 3 or 2 years ago in illustration class. I decided to turn that work into Art Cards, Edition and Originals. Now, the last image is some thing new I will be doing. It will be along the lines of entertainment design and story boarding in ACEO format. I am going for that sketchy look, but I will try to keep it clean. That was my first attempt. Anyway, feel free to click on the images

Mechanical Eden Redraw

I decided to redraw one of my art pieces digitally, but nothing beats the original. Although, redrawing the image digitally gave me the advantage, that I was able to draw perfect lines. It is very difficult to draw straight and circular lines by hand. I'm very happy with this turn out.

Busy Busy

I have been busy with personal issues, that I have not had the time to post anything new. However, I have been doing some sketching here and there. Also, I have been reading books on illustration and story boarding. The more I read about the industry, the more confident I'm feeling about art as a career. I'm happy I went down that road. I will have to sacrifice some things in my life, but I know it will be worth it at the end. Plus, my mom and friends expect great things of me. I can't let them down. I must keep moving forward.
